About OC4Play
Welcome to our off-roading family! To share a bit of history, Orange County 4-Play (OC4-Play) is one of the oldest and longest-running off-road enthusiast clubs in Southern California. Established in 1986 by a group of like-minded individuals, Orange County 4-Play is a family-oriented club dedicated to exploring the back roads, trails, and off-the-beaten paths of California and beyond. We have broadened our original charter from strictly off-road events to also include expedition camping, geo-cache adventures, and discovering open-use areas and parks. We pride ourselves on fostering a friendly environment where we support one another both in and outside of club functions.
As a proud member of CAL4WHEEL (California 4WD Association | https://cal4wheel.com), we actively work to keep our trails accessible against overzealous conservationism and governmental encroachment. By joining our OC4Play 4WD off-road club, part of your annual dues contributes to CAL4WHEEL, ensuring you also become a full member of that organization. Additionally, we participate in the San Bernardino Forest Service Adopt-A-Trail program (http://sbnf-adopt-a-trail.com) and proudly sponsor our own trail, known as White Mountain. At least twice a year, we head out to locations like 3N11 (Wright Mine), 3N11A (Wright Mine Saddle), and 3N17A (White Mountain) to remove fallen trees, debris, and trash, promoting a responsible

Based in Orange County, CA, OC4Play is a dedicated 4WD offroad club for off-road enthusiasts. We are proud to be affiliated with several organizations, including CAL4WHEEL (CA4WD), the Clean Trail Project, Adopt-A-Trail, and Tread Lightly. Our club focuses on fostering a community among the many Orange County 4WD offroad off road clubs and promoting responsible off-road adventure in SoCal.

Joining OC4Play, one of the premier OC4Play 4WD offroad off road clubs for off-road enthusiasts, is simple. To become a member of this vibrant community of SoCal 4WD offroad off road clubs, you need to own a 4 wheel drive vehicle, attend 2 monthly club meetings within a 12 month period, and use your vehicle in at least 2 official club run
Joining OC4Play, one of the premier OC4Play 4WD offroad off road clubs for off-road enthusiasts, is simple. To become a member of this vibrant community of SoCal 4WD offroad off road clubs, you need to own a 4 wheel drive vehicle, attend 2 monthly club meetings within a 12 month period, and use your vehicle in at least 2 official club runs during that same timeframe. Additionally, you will need to pay the annual member dues and a new member fee, and finally, be voted in by a majority of current active club members. If you can't decide after 4 runs, then OC4Play is likely not the right fit for you among the many SoCal 4WD offroad off road clubs and Orange County 4WD offroad off road clubs available for your off-road adventure.

This event will be in the San Bernardino Nat'l Forest, on Pilot Rock and Willow Creek Trails.
On Saturday 8/16, meet at Chevron Gas Station (3260 Wagon Train RD, Phelan) at 9:00 AM. This station is off exit 131 on I-15 North heading towards Barstow. From the Chevron Station, we will proceed up to Silver Lake Dam to our trail entry point and air down.

Join the High Sierra Poker Run 2025, an exciting event hosted by our affiliate CAL4Wheel in the Shaver Lake (CA) area from Aug 30 to Sept 2. This is a perfect opportunity for off-road enthusiasts and members of the oc4play 4wd offroad off road club to experience the thrill of off-roading. If you're part of the Orange County 4wd offroad off road clubs or other socal 4wd offroad off road clubs, reach out to club member Ben Regalado at bnrghm@sbcglobal.net if you're interested in joining. Summer Escape 2025... This San Bernardino mountains event is organized by SCORCH (SoCal Off Road Club + Hangout), a great gathering for off-road enthusiasts. If you're looking to connect with fellow members of the OC4Play 4WD Offroad Off Road Club or other SoCal 4WD offroad off road clubs, contact club member Egan Hernandez at eganh@sbcglobal.net if you're interested in joining. Whether you want to come for the day, camp for a night, or spend the full weekend in the woods, this event offers something for everyone. Enjoy forest cruising, explore mountain meadows, meet at a sunset overlook, and wrap up in Pioneertown.
